• Check the refrigerant and if your system is a little low add whatever is needed
• Look at the outside unit to make sure it is functioning at top efficiency and is clear of any debris
• Check the motor, fan and electrical and refrigerant connections on the outside unit
• Check inside electrical connections to ensure that they are safe and working
• Check the interior forced air fan and the rest of the air handling system
• Check and replace any dirty filters
• Review visible duct work for any leaks
• Make certain all moving parts are lubricated

We suggest that you schedule your heat pump maintenance once in the spring, before the hot weather arrives, and again in the early fall before it gets too cold. This maintenance regime will ensure that you are getting the most from your system, minimizing the costs of running your heat pump, and providing you the comfort that you need year around.

• Regularly replace the filters
• Regularly check for any loose duct fittings or tape
• Keep the outside unit free of all debris
